Thrifting Therapy

I had to get out of the house today. I needed fresh air, sunshine and a little thrifting therapy. Add into that the fact that I didn't have a child attached to me, and I am a new woman! I hit some of my favorite thrift stores, two were having half price sales. Here is what $21 bought me:

Some water skis (not an item often found here) and one nasty looking ottoman.

A plethora of leather belts--I have a few projects I want to do with these.

A couple of wooden bowls, I will paint the larger one, and some copper molds.

A great pink compote (it is made for food) and some finials.

A few clipboards, a bulletin board that will be put into a frame or something, and a fish chain thing.

And finally a few fabric remnants. I actually got quite a bit of the red and white.
Tune in tomorrow to see what it looked like out my front door today Ü.

  7. I really like the water ski's! How great is that? We have some snowshoes at our house that I hang on the wall. Water ski's would be great in the summer. I also really like the cherry copper mold. Can't wait to see what you do with the belts!

We are just getting depressed here in North Dakota...snow and more snow, then blowing snow causing ice on the roads, and way too dangerous to drive to one of the four "cities" closest to us...! I need some major junkin' therapy! Please do show us what you are going to do with it your finds! The ottoman has darling feet...Andrea
