Oldies

It's been a crazy busy week--oldest son turned 16, middle son had a band concert, 2 Mother's Day teas at preschool, Mother's Day gifts, Teacher appreciation week, blah, blah, blah! I've had no time to junk, so thought I'd share a few oldies, and hopefully you think they are goodies.

Here is a chair and table I painted. The words are the definitions for hope, love, and joy.
This less than wonderful picture shows a chair I did and a stool I made--each leg was a different spindle and a different color. The doorknob keyholder my friend made.

This bench was made from a rusty headboard. I decoupaged the bronco label on there and painted the wood to match the headboard.

I am hoping to get to some projects tomorrow!

  2. It looks like you created the little bench out of a old bed frame. How clever. By the way, I truly enjoy your blog.

  3. It has been a very busy week here also! Today is my youngest son's 8th birthday and I'm taking cupcakes and punch to his classroom. Then I'm off to the town next to us. It's about 30 minutes away. They have a Vendor's Market there and I haven't been there in a while. Maybe I will find something that I can't live without! LOL They have a great thrift store there too!
Hope you have a great day!
