Twisted Love

When I spied this little table at a garage sale,
I fell in love with the barley twist legs
and the inlaid wood top in a chevron pattern.
It was weathered, not stripped, but most of its original finish was gone.  I know it is not a real old piece, but I loved its lines. I painted it first in a sparse, partially covered coat of grey, followed by a coat of old white and some dark wax.
Isn't she a sweetheart?

  1. Your table looks great! I picked up a table a lot like this a while back, but mine is missing the inlay. I'm thinking of holding it back till spring and maybe doing something in yellow.

  2. Great table! I just bought an English pub table with the same legs. They make the table. Love them!
