This Way ---->

I made an arrow.
Why?  Why not?
I was playing with my scrap wood and an arrow is what I came up with.
I used the nail gun to assemble it.
I wasn't sure if I was supposed to make a parallelogram or a trapezoid for the tail pieces.
The 11 told me a parallelogram makes it more aerodynamic--I went with it.

  1. And, why should you not have an arrow if you want one? I love it!

  2. Hey gal I'm sure loving that arrow, it can be interpreted in any way somebody wants to. Love the colors and the style. Do you make things and kinda let them be the boss as you create?

    Love your blog and the projects you do. They speak to me, whatever it is I love how you do it. Strikes me the right way. I'll have to go out to shed and our pallet pile to see what I can come up with tomorrow.
    So many times I'll start out with one idea in mind but by the time the project is done it's something else. I let my instincts tell me what to do.

    So many times I'll show my hubs a project I want to emulate to some extent but he thinks it has to be done exactly as shown. I try to help him understand that the project I showed him was that person's interpretation, we can take any part of it and go with it in our own way. Sometimes I'll start out one way and completely change the idea as I go along. Planning only goes so far for me then I have to go my own route. I love creating and it seems the more I do the more ideas I get. Is it ever like that for you? Happy creating.

  7. Becky, I love your funky creativity! I don't know if you are willing to let out on a trade secret, but I have been looking through you blog, and I keep seeing a green that I would love to use for the front door on a funky little cabin my husband and I are building. It is the green used on a door you spiced up with chalk board paint and shelving, with the writing, "shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden".
    Did you find that door painted and match the color? Any input would be so great!
