Mother of 4

Today my son Mason would have been 14 years old.
Today is the day I remember that I am the mother of 4.  Not that I don't remember him every day in some little way.  But, when people ask, I say I have 3 kids.  I identify myself as a mother of 3. Today though, I celebrate that I have been blessed to have four children.  And although I get the privilege to raise only three of those children, I rejoice knowing my son is being raised by the most perfect parent, Jesus, and I will be blessed to see him again one day.  It is that absolute hope that gives me peace and allows me to say, "It is well with my soul."

  5. I never know how to answer that question...I gave birth to three but I've raised two. I will forever be blessed with the time we spent together and I know, like you, that one day we will have a wonderful reunion. Blessings to you.

  8. On March 10th every year I am the "Mother of 3" - the rest of the year...just two. I know the pain in your heart - one day I will be re-united with my son, as you will be with yours. May your heart be a little lighter today knowing that many are thinking of you and your son

    1. I am a mother of four whom I never got to hold and are now with our Lord. I know your pain. But, praise be to Jesus Christ who gives us hope and peace. We can look forward to the day when we see them again. What a loving God we have!
