A Drum Roll and an Encore

What do you get with an old film tin that needed an encore (and only cost $2.50 on 1/2 price day)
and a drum stand (free)?
Why a table of course!
My daughter told me I should grab the drum stand for a table base--she saw the possibilities before I did.  It had rubber feet and rubber pieces on the top, but those came right off.  I spray painted the base.
The film tin had a peanut butter can welded to the inside.  I guess the previous owners used it as a tree stand.  I was going to keep the tin upright with the lid on for storage, but I didn't like the look so I flipped it over.
I will use the lid for a tray or magnet board.  I used Gorilla Glue to secure the tin to the drum stand.  I left the tape and bit of label on it--liked the color and texture it added.  I put a coat of clear finish on the tin.

    Oh, I LOVVVEEE that table! I didn't even realize it was flipped over til you mentioned it. Congrats on having a daughter with great junk vision. And congrats on going over 50 for your linky. I haven't been very productive lately, but I sure want to join in.
