A Little Shelf Remix

I got this shelf from the thrift store for a few dollars.  As is the norm, I forgot to take a before picture, but imagine a 1970's wood shelf, no back.  The people who owned it apparently couldn't figure out how to hang it and had big, visible metal shelf brackets attached .

I removed the brackets, filled the holes and flipped it the opposite way (so the longer sides were at the bottom, not the top like they had it.

Some paint on the shelf, leftover painted scrap wood on the back, and some hooks and an old dated shelf is reborn.

  3. Love it! Love the back with stripes, and the way you flipped the long things to the bottom - I imagine it looked top-heavy the other way! Nice job. :)
