Craving Color

It is February.  It is February in Montana.  It is grey.  It is white.  It is brown.  I did the white/cream thing for Christmas and January, but now I am craving some color.  Alas, it will be a good three more months before we see any color in nature.  Color like this:

So, for now, I can paint my world bright and trust me, the bright, beautiful colors of paint are coming out again :).  What colors are you craving right now?

PS--If you are watching the Bachelor, just want you to know, I have lived here for 32+ years and have never milked a goat.  However, my kids have.

  3. Oh gosh - I totally understand the grey sky thing. We only get about 65 days of full sun in Michigan yearly and they ALL occur between late April and mid-December. It's a LONG winter here because it feels like winter even when it warms up a little. Anyway, thanks for the color boost. I've been craving a little of that green and blue together...

  4. I'm just west of you in Idaho, and I know what you mean about grey sky, white snow, and mud. I can't wait to paint a side table & chair a sunny yellow. And yes, years ago I milked a goat to bottle feed a calf - never again!

  6. Thank you for the reminds of summer and it's glorious colors! I live in northern Minnesota, so I can relate to the whites, greys and browns! Winter has a beauty of it's own, but come this time of year I'm ready for sunshine, greens and the rainbow colors of flowers!

  7. Becky - Your pops of color were a welcome sight as I too am longing for color. Here is the PacNW it has been day after day of gray mistiness. I love your old framed boards and your suitcase chalkboard. We live on a lake and that would the perfect thing to put on my front porch! I've pinned both to Pinterest. Thanks for sharing and many blessings to you, Patti@OldThingsNew
