Under $100 Linky Party--Please Join Us! :)

Sorry I have been somewhat absent--lots of computer problems over the last week or two (new laptop dead, router dead, home computer ancient SLOW dinosaur...).  We are still working on it all, which gives me an excellent opportunity to work on patience, priorities, not stressing over things, etc.  Check out a few favorite links from last week:
The Painted Hive shared a bedroom reveal redone in junkalicious style!
Boogieboard Cottage (how great is that blog name?) is getting in the holiday spirit with some simple burlap and pipe cleaners.
Look at this sweet, rustic frame from Emerald Cove.
Hook em horns, at least for a unique jewelry organizer like this one from Life in Rehab.
Polka Dot Lane's nursery art is ADORABLE!
Here is a new twist from Jellybean Junkyard on subway art--an advent calendar--cute and less fattening than the eat a chocolate a day variety.

Numbered

Funky Junk Interiors is featuring numbers at this weekend's party so I thought I'd show off a few of my past numbered projects.

I put numbers on this little mystery shelf I redid for my bathroom.

Numbers tied to this junky centerpiece,
Here is a collage of numbers on a bulletin board.
Numbered canisters,
And numbers on this step ladder that can be used for a wine rack.

Under $100 Linky Party

We had our first real snow, love it.  My daughter said yesterday, "I love this weather, makes me want to have the fireplace going, drink hot cocoa and decoarte for Christmas.  It makes me feel all warm and cozy."  I couldn't agree more, and I have some Christmas things to share, but those will have to wait because I have some great ideas to show from last weeks Under $100 Linky Party!

This faux grain sack chair from Primp is oo-la-la!
The Dating Divas shared a tutorial on making this fun and flirty apron.

Craftily Ever After has a cute FREE Thanksgiving printable for you.
From dumpster find to FANTASTIC from Home Hinges!
Transformed and Finished Cabinet
And these muffins from Inside Bru Crew Life look simply delicious!

New To Me!

Sorry, a day late here.  Spent yesterday enjoying the last of the beautiful Montana fall weather at my son's last football game.  It was a quarterfinal game and although they fought hard, they lost.  Seeing 22 senior boys crying tore at my heart.  My son said he thought, "This is the last time I will take off these cleats, this is the last time I will step off this bus."  On to a blog that is new to me--Designer Garden! Sommer is a creative soul who features a variety of projects and ideas--all fabulous.
Such as the sweet ottoman cover,

I love these little chairs and the stool and pillow in the middle,

Very cool chairback slipcovers,

This has got to be one of my all-time favorite headboard (crib) benches,
Adore these sweet pillows she just made,

So go check out Designer Garden, you won't be disappointed.

A Great Crate

I used the leftover fence wood pieces I have had to make a crate. First a review of what I made with these free old fence boards:
"Art",

A hanger thanger,
A message center,

A table/bench,

 an entry bench.

And now a crate.
I started with these pieces, 4 2x4's for the corners, 4 long pieces and 4 short pieces.
I screwed the short pieces to the narrow sides of the 2x4's.
I then screwed the long pieces to make a cube with out a top or bottom (and surprise, surprise, I forgot to take anymore process pictures).
I used the very last of the fence boards for the bottom--One was split and not as wide which made it so 3 fit perfectly.
I then added some fancy handles--I love the rustic wood with the dressier handles.  I still may stencil some French words on it, not sure about that, what do you think?
I also need to wax it, but didn't have that in me tonight.

Under $100 Linky Party

So many fun and different links--let's get to them!
I love the refashion craze--this sweater from Simply Step Back is a great example!

And speaking of sweaters, Christina's Adventures made a little art with some great texture.
My Shabby Chateau created the sweetest Parisian Christmas cards.
Pickles and Paper conquered her fear of vinyl and dressed up her front door.
Mustard Seed Memories made some kitchen art that really pops!
And this furniture makeover by The Frosted Gardner is drool worthy!

Looking forward to lots of lovely ideas this week!

Benched

I should be benched--I forgot I never showed you what I did with my bench I made.  I loved lots of your ideas, but decided on dry brushing white on it.

A dark stain against this chocolate wall wouldn't be good.  I liked the idea to make a bench pillow or pad and might still do that, when I get to it ???  I decided the white was best with the white baseboard and did the drybrushing so the great wood texture would still show through.
