While it is not fall yet, I feel it in the Montana air--cooler nights, leaves beginning to turn, football games. I love fall, it is my favorite season. This fall is the first one in 25 years that I am not busy preparing a classroom for a new school year...and that is as it should be. I love the kids, but know that I was ready to move on and let junk and furniture occupy my time and thoughts. And I am also ready for my kids to get back to school, back into a schedule, ready to reclaim my kitchen and family room. Ah yes, fall is good. Here is some fall inspiration for you:
Football!

ReplyDeleteI love fall. It is also our anniversary time and my birthday. It's just a fun time....the temps are cooler and the colors are ust beautiful. I don't think I could live somewhere where the trees didn't change colors. Love to go to pumkin patches and petting zoos with my grandchildren.

ReplyDeleteI love fall! In Western North Carolina it doesn't quite feel like fall until mid-September, when football season starts and apples start coming in. I love the cool air and being outside!
ReplyDeleteI love Fall as well. :) Can't wait till it is cool enough in Ohio to start making my long list of soups, and this year I didn't even make it to September before I started making Pumpkin Bread. (Love your blog....I've been quietly reading for a while.)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on fall! It is so wonderful to be able to sit outside and sip coffee in the mornings without "glowing" before 7 A.M. or swatting pesky mosquitos. (That might just be a Minnesota thing though...) Your crate is simply stunning.

My favorite has to be Fall. After a long, hot summer, it's so nice when the evenings start having a chill to the air and the trees are turning colors. Plus my favorite Holidays are in Fall - Halloween and Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteLiving in Florida there is only summer and summer. :( but having grown up in NH I can say my favorite season is spring when everything reawakens and the world is fresh with endless possibilities. I could hardly wait to ride my bike and breathe in the crisp, clean spring air.

I just love the early fall! The cooler temps, the fall colors, my anniversary, love it all!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Spring. I love when everything is fresh and new after being dormant in winter
ReplyDeleteI love the fall crate! And fall is my favorite season - because it starts to cool down after a hot summer, the leaves are changing colors, and you start smelling the smoke from fireplaces. It's nice to go for walks, and it's heading into all my favorite holidays. Thank you for the chance to win your crate!

Spring brings back my grandmother. The smell of soil, cool mornings that melt into sunshine, dewy grass, the smell of tomato seedlings...if I close my eyes, walk barefoot onto the patio, and inhale, I can almost see my grandmother again, digging the flower beds and repotting plants.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely fall wins for me!! Bring it on....
ReplyDeleteFall - the colors are my favorite.

Adorable blog -- I'm a new follower! And thanks for the give away opportunity as well -- I have to say hands down -- SUMMER is my favorite season. Fall makes me sad because I know it means the end of summer and the descent of winter (my LEAST favorite season) but it is such a pretty time of year. I just love summer because of the colors, flowers, sunshine, heat and the fact that you can be out the door in seconds without all of the boots, coats, gloves, etc.!
ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite ~ There is a special magic in the air, the way it feels, the way it smells, the crisp chill. I love the smells of Fall, the colors of Fall, the sounds of Fall ~ crisp, crunchy colorful fallen leaves... pumpkins and spice... cider and donuts... the browns, oranges, reds and yellows in nature and clothing. And, Fall precedes Winter, which I look forward to as well.
