Oh, the paint has been a flying around here the last few days--no pallet wood is safe. Once I get several (as in 50+) boards painted using THIS TECHNIQUE, the real fun starts--trying to decide what to make with it.
One small project I did was this shutter mailbox.
I started with the shutter, that was pink but got a quick coat of white. I made a 3 sided box.
I then found the right combination of painted pallet boards that fit the length of the shutter.
I joined these with a painted 1x2 at the top,
and then attached the "mailbox" by screwing through the back. A few small hooks for keys and a bright shutter mailbox was born.
A-dorable! I love things made with shutters. You never cease to amaze! Thanks for sharing. God bless.
