Vintage Inspiration Party

Hi there special VIPs! Ready to rumble, ready to go thrifting, ready to be swooned? Ok then, welcome to this weeks edition of the Vintage Inspiration Party.   At the Vintage Inspiration Party, your links will show up on 4 different blogs!
Vintage Inspiration Party

This is the place to share anything old, treasured, passed-down or tattered, but you can also share projects that were made to look old, including repurposed and upcycled creations.
vin-tage (adj.) 1.) used to describe something that is not new but that is valued because of its good condition, attractive design, etc. 2.) used to describe something that has the best qualities or characteristics of the things made or done by a particular person, organization, etc.   I really love having this party at my blog. It is such a good reminder of what a little creativity can do, and I love seeing all these new uses for otherwise discarded items. Anyway let's stop talking and let's start celebrating. I have the honor of bringing today's specials to the festivities. So here are my favorites of the week:

Embroidery Map

My thread loving heart missed a beat over this project. What a cool idea to make a memento of a special roadtrip by embroidering the rout on a map. Thank you Sadie Seasongoods for sharing this.

Herringbone Wall Unit Makeover   From blah to beautiful. I love the update this little wall unit got with the herringbone pattern on top. Great work from Deb at Seeking Lavender Lane.

Christmas tree from tray

Oh, I know it is still Fall but this little Christmas project was too cute not to share. And he, pine cones are Fall! You'll never guess what Carlene from Organized Clutter used to make this lovely bit of wall decor.

Simple Farmhouse Fall Decor
If you know me at all you know I love me some easy, simple and beautiful decorating. And this example of Farmhouse Fall Decor ticks all the boxes for me. See it in more detail at Happy at Home.

Camper hutch
This piece of furniture is part of of bigger project that is so jealousy inducing I am seeing green. This little vintage hutch is made up from a couple of different treasures. Treasures this particular gal had lingering in her garage. Some garage that must be! Hop on over and check out where this beauty of a vintage hutch is living now on Vintage Lifestylings.

This lovely Fall mantel can be found at An Oregon Cottage. Check out Jami's complete Fall Home Tour. You won't be sorry.

31island-on-deck
This project took a lot of vision, and by the looks of it, a lot of hands to build. But what a great outcome! Loving this pallet wood deck island very much. Great job from Val and her family over at Love my DIY Home.   If you were featured here today, feel free to show off this remarkable achievement

Now let's get this party going. If you want to join and link up your finds and vintage/ upcycled projects go right ahead. But take a moment to browse the rules first.
Link Party Guidelines
- You are welcome to share anything vintage or vintage inspired. This includes yard sale finds, repurposed and upcycled creations, family heirlooms, and even vintage or vintage inspired items you have for sale. If it’s been around awhile or just looks that way…share away!! No food links please. - Pin away, but please be sure to pin directly from the original source, not from my blog. - Be sure to have a visible link to Beyond The Picket Fence (or the other party throwers) within your post (text link is fine) within your post. - By linking up with the Vintage Inspiration Party you agree that your photos and links may be shared on Pinterest, Facebook, and other social media sites. You may be included in a round up to promote the party or individually with a link back to you. We love what you share and the extra exposure is a benefit to everyone.

But wait, before you link up, we have some fun news.  The four of us ladies along with some other fabulous gals are joining up to bring you some projects of our own and host a super huge link party.  Join us THIS Sunday evening!
