I have been "ignoring" my MORE Monday posts. It hasn't really been happening on purpose, just in summer mode. Ya know, not really sure what day it is or which end is up.
So, after today's more Monday post, I am putting them on hiatus until fall. To be honest, there are very few of you who read these posts, but I had made a commitment to do them for a year. So, if you are following along, at the end of the year, you will have about 40 posts that give you ideas on how to make small changes that can add up to get MORE out of life.
For this final post before the summer break (just for MORE Mondays, I will still be posting other things!), I wanted to focus on being more authentic. (FREE Printable HERE)
I have touched on this in a few other Monday posts and the reason it is on my brain, is I continually realize how often I forget or fail to be my authentic self.
I get caught up in the latest trends or what so and so likes and I forget to even ask myself if I like it.
I think I do this a lot with home decor. For example the current farmhouse trend that is so popular due to HGTV's Fixer Upper. Now, don't get my wrong, I really like looking at farmhouse decor and can appreciate it and love some elements of it. But, I cannot live in an all white, chippy world. I need color and funky, hippy, boho elements.
I forget to be authentic in other areas of my lives--relationships, fashion, etc. And while I still am not sure what is always me, I certainly am trying to listen to my intuition, to listen to my heart.
Print off this FREE Printable here and pick a few ideas to help you become more authentic.
Let me know what you are working on and if you have any hints and tips on being more authentic.
