Today's project is super simple and easy and quick--perfect, right?
I wanted to create custom ribbon for Christmas projects.

I started with Old Sign Stencils Christmas Crates Stencil--you can get it HERE, some wide, wired edged burlap ribbon (for an even more economical option--cut strips of burlap), and white acrylic paint.
In 15 minutes I had the entire roll of ribbon stenciled. I used the script Merry Christmas and the snowflake on part of the ribbon, and the do not open until December 25th, the postal stamp, and the snowflake on the other part of the ribbon.
To make a simple wreath, I added twigs and faux greenery to a large embroidery hoop. I created a large bow, securing it with wire. I added some pinecones hot glued to jute.
The wreath is cute hanging on a coat hook,
or an a door.
I also used used the custom stenciled ribbon on some small, brown paper wrapped packages.
The Christmas Crate stencil would be perfect on the brown a paper as well. The stencils are so easy to use and help you to customize your Christmas!
