Spring Green Sofa Table

Here is one of my first projects with all of my fabulous wood, a slim sofa or entry table painted in a bright, springy green.

entryway, salvaged wood, spring, paint, decor, Beyond The Picket Fence,http://bec4-beyondthepicketfence.blogspot.com/2013/03/spring-green-sofa-table.html I used 4 pieces of barn wood-- see you can still see the barn red under the top.

Pallet wood was best for the X on the back because it is a little more flexible.  The X not only adds a design element, but really helps to make the piece sturdy.

The top I painted in white, it looks rough, but is smooth like butter to the touch.

This was a quick build and is a great size to work in many different spaces.

  1. Looks great! I'm a little shy about using green (don't know why! lol). But you have inspired me to give it more thought because I love this color. :)

  2. The slim table looks great Becky! Are you still selling at the Farmer's Market?

You'll have to check my comment if you email me... I'm a no-reply comment blogger. :( I fixed it, but it happened again.

  6. Green is my all time favorite color. I love green furniture, green grass, green rolling hills and I especially love wearing green. One of my favorite sweaters is chartreuse green. Sage green is probably my most favorite though. Your table is adorable. Go green!
