Pallet wood was best for the X on the back because it is a little more flexible. The X not only adds a design element, but really helps to make the piece sturdy.
The top I painted in white, it looks rough, but is smooth like butter to the touch.
This was a quick build and is a great size to work in many different spaces.
Looks great! I'm a little shy about using green (don't know why! lol). But you have inspired me to give it more thought because I love this color. :)
ReplyDeleteExellent !! Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteThe slim table looks great Becky! Are you still selling at the Farmer's Market?
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to check my comment if you email me... I'm a no-reply comment blogger. :( I fixed it, but it happened again.

Love the rustic feel and so pretty in green!
ReplyDeleteGreen is my all time favorite color. I love green furniture, green grass, green rolling hills and I especially love wearing green. One of my favorite sweaters is chartreuse green. Sage green is probably my most favorite though. Your table is adorable. Go green!
