Rustic, Reclaimed Chalkboard

Is there a theme here?  I sure seem to be in the rustic mode lately.  I made this simple chalkboard with a scrap piece of plywood and 4 pallet boards.
I screwed the frame on through the back of the plywood painted with chalkboard paint.

The chalk rests on the frame.  Reminds me of old school chalkboards.

    Really? You can paint chalkboard paint on plywood board and then write on it? I thought it had to be a slate like material. Looks totally like the old school chalkboards. I want to give it a try. You are very creative. Thanks for sharing your ideas with all of us.
