Welcome To My Junky Blog

It's my day, my SITS day. Yeah for me! SITS is awesome--thanks Heather and Tiffany for all you do! I have found so many wonderful blogs through SITS, and I hope some of the visitors today, will become a follower and be back in the future. My blog is a little about my family, and a little about my faith, but mostly about JUNK!
I like to paint junk:

Transform junk:
Made from an old chicken coop door and playset ladder.
Cupboard door into chalkboard.
Wine rack made from sewing machine drawer.


Ladder made into a message center.
Repurpose junk:

    Those things you remade art great! A friend of mine, a former Pastor's wife, used to think up craft ideas using junk all the time for our kids' Hobby Club at church. The kids loved it! I have a junky blog too--(miscellaneous stuff) and have added you to my blogroll.

    Visiting from SITS! Congrats on your day. That first picture of the trunk, I have one too but it was my great-great aunts over 100 years ago. When I was a teenager I refurbished it. It keeps my prize possessions now.

    Wow! You are so crafty and creative and you've turned junk into ingenious masterpieces. I love it!

    I also collect antiques, but I'm not so good with refinishing them. I'm not real creative either. The last creative thing I did was turn an old picnic basket into a storage piece for the bathroom. Sitting next to the toilet with a magazine on top, it opens and inside there's extra TP and female hygiene products.
