A Day Late and a Dollar Short Linky Party

Sorry again about the delay in the linky party.  Life just got a whole lot calmer with my preschool year coming to an end.  A day late is not good, but a dollar short is okay because all of you incredibly talented and thrifty bloggers have some fabulous under $100 ideas.  Here are some from last week:
Babblings from Brooke showed off a cute meal planner--no more, "What's for dinner questions!"
Loved the colors of these signs from Tattered and Ink!
My Lips will Glorify You gives a great tutorial on making this chic rose necklace.
A Wannabes Mermaid Diary did a bedroom makeover for her sister on a major budget!  How sweet!
Sally Goodin shares a great lampshade,
and because you have to know I love me some furniture redos, here is an outstanding dresser "refab" by Frugal & Fabulous Design:

Linky Party--Tomorrow :)

Internet has been down, hubby who handles the computer stuff is out of town.  I just got it back by messing with routers, wires, modems.  I have my end of the year preschool program/graduation tonight--I will get linky party up tomorrow morning.
Until then, how do you know you live in Montana?
When a moose runs through your subdivision!

Thanks everyone for linking up last week.  I didn't get a chance to comment on everyone's links, but I promise I did visit them all.  I have been in bed with a nasty head cold.  I thought I was getting better over the weekend, but it revived itself and hit again on Monday with a vengeance.  I swear, if it's not one thing, it's another and then I guess when it quits being something you die, so I will take the somethings :)!
Check out these links from last week:
A plethora of different ideas to make decorative balls from House of Hepworths:
I am looking for a fence rail to copy this creative planter idea from the Thiftress:
Sweet Charli shows us how to make ruffled flip-flops,
And Peppertowne gives a great tutorial on making a bench out of an outdated 8o's coffee table.
Design Life made some cute stenciled burlap pillows,

Chippy-Chirpy Bird

I used the peeling paint technique I like on this little stool and old tool (?) box.
I scraped off the paint before applying my final paint color.  I stuck down a bird stencil cut from the cricut over the peeling paint and then painted the whole thing brown.  I pulled up the stencil, sanded and scraped a little more and that was it.  It is the first time I have tried this and I am very pleased with the results.

Beyond The Picket Fence
Thanks so much for linking up last week--we almost reached 100 links!  Here are some features from last week's party:
This men's shirt redo by the Brassy Apple made me want to rush out and get an ugly man's shirt.
I love the personal statement this piece of art by Scrapbooking Over Coffee makes.
Jenn's Corner of Heaven made some simply lovely curtains from a duvet cover.
I have never seen a pocket organizer for jewelry, and Cap Creations made this one so bright and fun!
Holy Craft's PB inspired typewriter art is better than the original!
Creative Ambitions completed this rather ambitious awning project with outstanding results, and she shows you how to do it too!

I Was Inspired By...

This week I was inspired by Alicia at Thrify and Chic!  Alicia shares many great tutorials and projects, all done on a budget.
Like this cute jewelry organizer
or a new twist on the dessert stand.
How about her creative idea to dress up a ceiling light?
Or her dining room chair "headbands"?
And who wouldn't want to do laundry in here? (Okay, I still wouldn't want to--I can't stand laundry, but I'd go in there and enjoy the room.)
This week I was inspired by her candle holders.  Wouldn't these be great on a porch?
My version:

I expoxied a glass insulator and a porcelain door knob on top.  The Perfect Mason jars are always special to me too.  I had a son named Mason who died of a rare heart defect.  My friend brought me flowers in her grandmother's Perfect Mason jar and they always help me to remember that he is a Perfect Mason now in heaven with a perfect heart.

Thanks Alicia for the inspiration!
