It's THAT time of year, time to be reflective and also look ahead. Honestly, I am not sure I am in the mood for either--the couch and Netflix have been rather appealing. But, it is good to look back and to reflect what I accomplished in 2018 and to guide where I want to go in 2019. So, here are some of MY favorite projects from this past year:
I made this simple "frame" in February from a thrift store checkerboard. It holds a picture of my grandpa, and that makes it even more special.
This Cafe sign and fun painting technique makes me happy!
I made a couple of these shelves in April--I love the rustic feel.
I saved and cleaned up a primitive cupboard in May.
In June I upcycled a wine cart from the thrift store. The addition of the wood made this a fun, fresh piece!
Painting my cupboards was my favorite July project. I adore the change!
Gel stain transformed this thrift store bamboo chair.
A barnwood wall cubby was a fun project. It provides great storage options!
Ironing board bases made a fun, unique table base.
Throwing metal things in the fire created some fun projects like this snowflake bucket.
And to finish the year, this shadow box made from an old mantle clock was a fun project.
Thank you faithful readers for coming to my little blog, for cheering me on, for continuing to support me in what I love. I look forward to sharing new and exciting things with you all in 2019. Happy New Year!!
