Doll Bed

Using two old chairs and a few 2x4's and trim wood, I made up this special order American girl doll bed.

 These beds, originally shown as dog beds were the brainchild of Sharon at the HGTV boards.  If you were ever on the boards, you know Sharon and her ingenuity. You start with two old rickety chairs, cut the backs off.  Make a 2x4 rectangle and attach to the chair backs.  Add a bottom to the bed and paint.

The mattress is a standard sized pillow, I stitched up a cover for it.  The mom was very pleased, wish I could see her daughter's face Christmas morning.
