These colors brighten the cloudiest of days.
I picked this set up on half price day at Sally's--it was light, butcher block style wood with forest green legs and chair sides and rungs. I base painted it all with Annie Sloan French Linen, mostly because I wasn't sure where I was going with it and the chalkpaint works as a nice primer, albeit an expensive one.
I then added greens and blues to the legs
and to the slats and rungs on the chairs. I sanded a little when done, let some of the forest green show through, and sprayed a clear coat on all of it.
Wouldn't this be great for a first apartment or on a covered porch?
