But, I digress...What I am trying to say is, I made a fish :).
I have made a smaller rainbow fish on a board before--SEE HERE. This time I made a larger fish with no background board.
I have no process pictures because this was a late night, wing it, what am I making, kind of a project. I sketched a fish on a piece of brown paper. I then placed wood scraps over it and drew with a pencil on the boards the basic angles I needed to cut. I put it all together with thin board pieces on the back--one long one that runs the length of the fish and smaller ones on the edges of the fish. I sanded to round out my angles.
I painted it and sanded and waxed it. I think it is fun and whimisical!

I am pretty sure the quote is from A Fish Called Wanda - the scene where Otto is torturing K-k-k-ken into telling him where the money is hidden. Just before he threatened to eat one of the goldfish alive.
