Paint Makeover

When a friend gave me a little piano stool like this (although more scratched up),
I knew a little paint and fun fabric would update it.

I painted it with Fusuion Mineral Paint in linen. I am telling you--Fusion is the best!  It is smooth and has great coverage.  It always seems almost watery, but covers like a dream!

I think I am going to use this color on my cabinets, maybe...

I used some Waverly fabric to recover the top.  I washed in washing soda and added some pickling salt and bleach to it to give it a softer and more weathered look. I washed it a couple times. The top opens for a little storage bonus.

Simple, but updated and ready for a new home. The dog stays with me--she loves being in photos!
