Christmas is 12 days away, and yep, I am only on day 5 here( day 4 was the stenciled tray I shared for our fun blog hop!). Oh well, so goes life. Thanks for your patience! Day five's project started at as ornaments, but...
I decided to use them for shelf sitters instead.
I started with a scrap 1" x 4" board that I cut into varied lengths. I painted the pieces after cutting them.
Then using the Christmas crates stencil, GET IT HERE, I stenciled various components on the red blocks.
I was going to drill holes in the corners and thread wire through them to use as ornaments. BUT, my tree is full and I needed small shelf decor and bits of color added in, so these worked perfectly.
They would be cute tied to packages or hanging from kitchen and bathroom cupboard knobs or sitting on a kitchen windowsill.
Quick and simple and so many ways to personalize them. What color would paint them and where would you use them?
