Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret
when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. -Psalm 37:7
Have you been waiting for something for awhile? Wondering if God remembers that you asked Him? Patience is not my strong point and sometimes answers seem to come so slowly--years sometimes crawl by as I wait for an answer. This verse reminds me that God has it all under control--that He knows what is happening and He has not forgotten me or my prayer. So I will be still and wait, wait for Him. His timing is perfect!
Hey there! I sure didn't know you lived in Montana! If I would have known that, I would have made plans to meet you! We had a great time and the weather was unbelievable! Loved the Antique Barn! Andrea
ReplyDeleteHow many times we can look back and see how doing things in His timing brought so much more peace that 'jumping the gun' and doing things our way.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
I was just reminding myself of this yesterday. I can't rush his plan for me or my family.
ReplyDeleteHave a Blessed evening.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm so glad you did so I could find your blog. I read your profile and smiled because we have a lot in commen. 40 something? hmm, hmm, me to. 3 children, me to. A baby waiting in heaven, ME TO!!!
ReplyDeleteA favorite scripture of mine that goes along with this beautiful post is "Be Still and know that I am God." I repeated that over and over as I carried my sweet baby that I would be giving back to God at birth. I still repeat it - over and over. He loves us! We are his daughters.
Love your blog and fantastic ideas!
Have a great day!
