As I have said before, I have pulled some square nails from this wood, so it is old. This table was simple construction. You know I love paint, but not for this purdy wood.
Some good sanding, Early American stain, and wipe on poly was all it took to beautify this baby.
I love the storage shelf--big enough for blankets and books and magazines.
This piece would also make a good TV console, with storage for DVR's, etc. underneath.
I really need a small coffee table right now and I love the simple and rusticness of this one! Thanks for sharing this Becky!
