I made a cross out of pallet wood first.
I then fit and cut all of the little pieces,
and used a nail gun to attach them.
"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed."--1 Peter 2:24

ReplyDeleteWhen you made the origial cross out of pallet wood, how did you attatch the horizontal pieces to the vertical? I just stumbled on a pile of scrap lumber in all different colors and would love to make one for my own home. Thanks Diane.

ReplyDeleteI love love love love LOVE this! I'm working on my first ever pallet project right now and OI... disassembling that thing was a nightmare! I love the projects people do with them but now I have a newfound appreciation for the process. so does my aching back. If you have any tricks on making it easier I'd love to know!
ReplyDeleteHey Rebekah,
DeleteYou may have already figured this out, since this comment was posted a couple years ago....but wanted to let you know that we are working on our 1st pallet project as well. The easiest way we have found is to use a sawzall to cut right through the nails
This reminds me how my patchwork of bad stuff becomes something amazing when covered by the cross.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
