Oh--doesn't pallet island sound like a wonderful place to visit? A beach filled with pallet lounge chairs where umbrella drinks rest on pallet tables. I am afraid this is not that kind of island. But it is a kitchen island made from a pallet.
This was a smaller pallet, with little spaces in between the wood. I added some small trim pieces and croquet mallet handles to fill the spaces and the some Bri Wax to shine it up.
The legs were made from 2x6's, I added locking casters and the bottom shelf from pallet pieces.
A croquet mallet handle for a towel bar,
a bottle opener and hook on the front and a pallet wine and book holder and this pallet island is ready to roll.
Awesome Becky!!!!!!!! Congratulations on your book!

ReplyDeleteSO awesome - congrats!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you!! Your island inspired mine, which I don't think I've ever posted. We're redoing our kitchen and now don't have room for it (but finally going to have a backdoor, so that's okay!), so it's going into the laundry room. I just love it so much! Congratulations on your book!
