Coffee Table Transformation
When friends are moving and want to give you free furniture, you say yes please, and thank you.
I knew this coffee table just needed a little paint and a new top to make freshen it up. I painted the base in Laurentien from Fusion Mineral Paint.
I distressed it a bit with the sander.
I added a new top with pallet wood. I glued the top on and then used the nail gun to further secure it.
I used stain on the top AND over the paint, using Minwax's Early American.
A clear coat and an industrial handle completed the new look for this table.

Love that transformation. I probably wouldn't have given that coffee table a second look.

ReplyDeleteBecky, you knocked it out of the park on this table! Love the pallet wood top addition and the color is magnificent. Thank you for all the details. :))

Beautifull!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! Great color choice. I like to wipe stain over my paint, too, gives it some "age."
