Sewing Machine Desk

This writing desk was made from a sewing machine base and a piece of plywood. I had fun painting this patchwork design, although it took many hours. I decoupaged some old photos and things on it as well. The boxes sitting on top are old wooden canisters with ball feet added and painted up. These always sell quickly. And you can also see a potato masher vase sitting on it. I sell at least one a week at Farmer's Market in the summer.

  1. You always have such great stuff. Where do you find the time to create so many fabulous pieces? I love the potato masher. Are there two small jars attached to the handle?

  10. You have done it again! I love the table and the chair to match. Perfect little desk! I love the colors that you used too. I bought some wooden cannisters one day at a thrift store and put them in storage until I could think of something to do with them. Thanks for the idea! I guess I need to dig them out of storage!

  11. I absolutely love the table! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your Sunday verses have been so nice to read while we struggled with my mom's health issues.

Wish you were closer to MN. We are having a 2-day market in June and your things would fit right in. Feel like a road trip??? :)
