Potting Bench Fever

I've got the fever, do you?  While the wind is still a howlin' and the snow is still a blowin', I have spring fever.  And with this particular fever comes the side effects of wanting to plant flowers. Alas, that is a good 2-3 months away in Montana.  In the meantime, I am planning out the next potting bench I might want to create, using past ones for inspiration.

THIS ONE was made from pallets and included a chalkboard to keep track of plants and other gardening business.

HERE IS a rustic style potting bench I made:

I created THIS POTTING BENCH from a recycled swingset.

THIS BARN DOOR potting bench was the first one I ever made in my beginning blogging days.

ANOTHER PALLET potting bench or patio bar.

THIS was created more as an outdoor entertainment bar, but would work as a potting bench.

And finally I use THIS TABLE on my porch as my potting bench (lots of great storage behind that curtain).

Patience--planting time will be here soon enough!  Linking up at Jennifer Rizzo's, My Repurosed Life, and Funky Junk Interiors.

  3. YES! I have serious Spring fever! But as a fellow Montanan, I know I have a good 3 or 4 months before Spring truly arrives. I have been wanting to build a potting bench for my little shop where I live- LOVE all these you created! I'm going to have to show these to the hubters. Wish I was as savy as you are with power tools!

  5. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the benches and your painting style! So inspiring! I think you could totally contract with Pottery Barn to build stuff for them (and who knows who else?). Have a blessed weekend!
