Why it is the coffee station of course where such hits as Love me Mocha, Love me Sweet and All You Need is Latte are played.
Before we moved into our old schoolhouse, I had envisioned a cute vintage metal cart in the kitchen for a coffee station.
But, the space I wanted one wasn't going to work.
I do, however, have plenty of counter space, enough for a small coffee area so I created one. And the best part--I used things I had on hand at home.

I cut a thin piece of board to fit the wall space and painted it with chalkboard paint. I used Command Adhesive Strips, the velcro kind, to attach it to the wall. This way I can pull the chalkboard down easily to change the coffee sentiment on it.I used an old drawer I had that was the perfect size. I polished it up with some coconut oil.
I added jars for cocoa and tea and other yummy indulgences. I painted the lids with chalkboard paint. One favorite old jar holds cinnamon sticks for my tea (I love all hot beverages!).
Four of my favorite farmhouse style mason jar mugs sit in the box as well.
I enjoy having all my happy hot drink goodies in place. It makes morning coffee fun, as if I am enjoying my cup in a little shop.
Where do you enjoy your morning cup of jo?
Oh yes, coffee! Love all the chalkboard additions you added. :)
