Here!

I am still here. I know I promised pictures of a project. I was hit with something that has slowed me way down. I was dizzy for a few days and I think I was bit by a tsetse fly--I was so stinkin' tired. Each day this week I came home from teaching preschool and fell into a deep sleep on the couch, barely waking to go get my daughter from preschool. I am feeling better today, playing catch-up around the house, but I will show pictures of the project and the bonus project tomorrow.

There was a huge explosion in our downtown today--a gas leak. You can read about it here: http://www.montanasnewsstation.com/Global/story.asp?S=9952373&nav=menu227_2 One person is unaccounted for, which is sad but really is amazing that it is just one. It happened at 8:00 a.m. which I am sure helped. They can't get to the gas to shut it off so it is still burning as I type--a controlled burn to "eat up" the gas.

  2. Oh my, what a nasty explosion! My father-in-law is a gas line welder and he's always having to go fix gas lines.

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better. I hate those days where you can't seem to get awake.

  3. Wow, that exact thing happened a couple months ago in my hometown, Pueblo, CO.
You're right--sorry for the one missing--but it could've been so much worse.

  4. Was it a girl tse-tse fly or a boy tse-tse fly? Cause I've heard that males will also go through your refrigerator.

By the way, thanks for visiting my blog last week when it was featured on SITS.

  5. Oh, so sorry you've not been feeling well and I'm glad to hear you may be bouncing back. I hate those weird illnesses that just come outta the blue like that and don't really have a name and it seems you just gotta ride it through.
There was an explosion like that here several months back. How awful.

Know you're not the only one suffering from exhaustion... it's catching. I'm so ready for spring and warm weather!
