Boarding

Boarding--a popular word in my house since my boys are avid snow boarders.  However, boarding to me speaks of bulletin boards, one of my favorite things to make--nothing like something cute to help you get organized.  I am working on a few that aren't quite done, but thought I'd show you some from the past to link up at Donna's Funky Junk Interiors Party.
One of my faves was my PB inspired board:

I spray painted this one with a number theme.

This is a combo bulletin board/chalkboard message center made from a bunk bed ladder.

Recently I shared these bulletin boards made from hotdish holders:

I used a coffee sack and some old garden fencing on this one.

I used a vintage tablecloth to cover this bulletin board.

And finally, have made many with the criss-cross ribbon.

  14. Love love love them. I particularly like the oval one...the PB knock off and the different materials you used such as the things that look like old mirrored trays that you put the burlap on....I have a 1940s screendoor I am converting into a bulletin board so you have given me some things to think about. Great inspiration.

  15. Your bulletin boards are beautiful. I relly like the top PB-inspired one with the curtain clips! We recently renovated a house, and when the screen door was ripped off, I yelled, "Save that metal trim for me!" and now it is a great idea board where I hang all my favorite inspiration!
