Hop Ching Hopefully = Ka-Ching

I have had this great star checkers board for a few years.
It was made by the J. Pressman Co, who made the first of these gameboards in the U.S. in the 1920's.  I think this particular board dates to the late 30's or 40's.

I built a table frame, painted it red, used some Briwax on the game board and attached it to the table base.  Hopefully it well sell this week at Farmer's Market,

  1. I would buy this in a second! As a matter of fact I think I used to own that chinese checker game when I was a kid... it looks very familiar! Good luck!

  4. Not only is it cute and can be used to play the actual game, it has many usages such as being a table as well.
