Ode to a Simple Box

Dear simple box, who once must have had a hinged lid,
I found you at the thrift store, even though you were hid,
I slapped on some paint colors--orange, turquoise, and green,
Added belt piece handles and now simple box, you can hold anything.
PS--Lest anyone is concerned about the amount of wine I show in all my wood boxes, I really only drink a couple glasses a week.  I just like the way it looks in the boxes, think the boxes and crates make a great wine caddy for those of us who don't have a collection and only keep a few bottles on hand ;).

  1. Yep - I AM concerned - not enough!! LOL Seriously - you make everything look great with your styling flair - love the box!!!

  2. Great use of a belt! Love it!

  3. Love it again! I really like the handles you used. I can pick your creations out of a crowd... excellent work again Becky!

  4. And here I was just going to mention your alcohol consumption! lol That box turned out just darling! I'm looking for a steamer trunk to hold my wine. Kidding! ~ Maureen

  5. Cute, Cute, Cute!!! Love it! Yes the wine bottles do look good in it. Wine bottles have that way about them. They can make anything look good. Wine is good for you.

  6. I thought you were going to say "one or two glasses a DAY!" and I was thinking "ya, that's my kind of girl..." LOL.

  7. Love the crate!! Using the belt for handles...BRILLIANT!!!

  8. I just saw this on pinterest. I love this box and the handles. Super cute and simple. I'm such a fan of your stuff!
