wonderful vintage pictures,
I love it all. But, alas I cannot keep them all (I may be trying to buy them all, though). It was time for me to start using some of them for projects, the reason I have justified purchasing them in the first place. I picked three with an animal theme to make this fun and colorful coat hook:
I screwed the books to a board,
sealed them with some clear sealer and added hooks,
Here is what the back looks like--I added an extra board--decided it needed a little more.
Even the youngest of kids can organize and keep things neat with hooks. Find more ideas at Donna's Funky Junk Interiors.
I love children's books too!

I've just recently found your blog via Pinterest, and feel you are a kindred spirit. I also have a passion for vintage childrens books (I have MANY waiting to be used) and love recreating with salvaged materials. Your work is incredible - love love love it!!!
