If you will indulge my walk done Beyond the Picket Fence Memory Lane, or at least my 2014 memories.
This rustic hall tree made from a roadside find was definitely one of my favorites from this past year.
And yes, I think it was partially because I proved my hubby wrong by actually making something useful from "garbage". But, I also loved the tin and the wood together.
It was a simple build and fun to see it come together and encouraged my to look at roadside trash piles a little more carefully.
Beautiful! I love the metal you've incorporated - makes it looks so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Becky!!
I love old wood and corrugated metal. So perfectly done!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! Very creative Becky. Definitely the wood and tin play off each other very well. I love looking at trash too. Just today I found a wrought iron base that I am thinking of turning into an ottoman. It was beside a dumpster in a grocery store back lot.
ReplyDeleteLove wood!
ReplyDeleteSending Love and hugs for a wonderful New Year.
