When someone sends you a picture of a little nightstand and asks if you want it, you say sure! (or at least I do.)
The before was an outdated little piece with a formica top, but a good solid drawer. I removed the little legs before I took this picture.
A little paint and some reclaimed barnwood and this outdated piece got updated.
Next, I added 2" x 2" square legs and reclaimed wood on the drawer front and the top.
A little Minwax Early American stain and a cleat coat finished this makeover.
I like the paint and natural wood combo on this one.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kim! My twenty year old son who doesn't like color said I should paint everything this color, haha!
DeleteGreat rescue Becky. Poor thing needed to be rescued, it is quite cute now. Love color and all you did to revive this piece. Like the little legs on it.
ReplyDeleteI am forbidden to pick up pieces on road offered, no room to store since we don't have way to sell things, people are funny about what they like here. Still trying to figure it out. Don't like distressed, don't like so many features of how pieces are redone now.
Thank you! I am thankful I have some storage space, and anything rustic with a cabin vibe always sells around here!
