Stencil a Rustic Sign for Christmas

I know, I know... it is only October, it is fall, an elf dies for every Christmas "thang" shared before December, BUT...I am show preppin' and in crafting world that means Christmas is NOW!! 

So sorry, but not sorry because this sign is pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself 😉.

I started with a thin, plywood square that I painted red. I then used the BUFFALO CHECK STENCIL with black paint. 

I used the SLEIGH RIDE stencil with white paint next and finally, added some snowflakes.

I framed the sigh out with some small cut-off boards I had, screwing through the back of the plywood to secure them.
