I love fall, but I can hardly believe it is October already. It is time to get serious about fall decorating (or about as serious as decor can be 😉). And, a quick and easy stenciled sign for fall is a perfect place to start!

Using Funky Junk Old Sign Stencils (Click HERE) I made this fun, rustic sign.
I used three stencils from Funky Junk's Old Sign Stencils newest line of stencils. I love these stencils--such high quality. They can be used over and over and over (and over).
I used a couple pieces of reclaimed barnwood boards to make the sign.
After using a stencil brush and white latex paint to stencil the signs, I joined them together with old yardstick pieces. I wanted it to look like the apple cider was an afterthought or an added attraction to an old farm's pumpkin patch. I used a piece of hemp to hang the sign.
A wire basket from the thrift store and a garage sale chair sit under the sign. I will soon add real pumpkins to the wire basket.
Cornstalks are cropping up out of an old mailbox (also from the thrift store) in the corner of the porch.
I can't wait to create more fun things with these stencils. They can be used for years to come. What would you stencil?
Oh wow... these are positively beautiful, Becky! I adore how you hung the signs as well! I do believe it's time to round up some corn stalks myself... my front porch is calling me!
ReplyDeleteThank you Donna! I adore these stencils.
