Let The Light Shine Through

I made a "stained glass" window.  I epoxied glass dishes to an old window.  I still need to figure out hanging it--think I will use a chain with eye screws into the top of it.  Here it is sitting in my window.

You need to be neat with the epoxy--I probably could have been more so, but I am still pleased with the results and my version of stained glass.  Oh and the white stuff you see in the background? Snow, the same snow that has been on the ground since November--I am over it!

  1. I am loving the varying shades of green. So pretty! And I think the chain with eye hooks idea will be great added.

  14. What a great idea.

I love the shades of green too.

I like that it is resting in front of the window; but hanging would be nice too.

  19. This is a great idea. It might be cool to find several of the same old dish and make a repeating pattern too. It could be used to make a window opaque when you want to block the view a bit. Very nice!
