It reminds of wonderful things such as the ocean and the beach, Mexico or the Caribbean, the mountains and streams--happy places.
This "wood-upholstered" chair puts a smile on my face.
It is whimsical and fresh, something it definitely wasn't when I started. I forgot a before picture, but it was blonde, scratched wood with a plastic covered, fabric seat.
Now it is cheery and invites you to have a seat.
The back of the chair was already the two wood pieces so I just painted each one a different color.
Have a seat, I will get you a margarita.
Turned out great. Love the color choices.
ReplyDeleteTrying again and this time proof reading...why do I do everything to fast??? Any way ..What I wanted to say is that color makes me happy too, which is probably why I love all your pieces! :)

I adore the choice of color used here..it screams Summer is here!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. Love it...can't say it enough. Wish My hubby would come round to the shabby way of life.
DeleteI love the chair and the colors. I would love to have a seat in it and enjoy a Margarita, for sure! :)
ReplyDeleteLovin' your awesome chair, sure reminds me of Mexico, beach all that good stuff. Better be careful with your invitations or you're liable to have bunches of very thirsty people show up at your house expecting margaritas. I miss the yummy ones I always got with the great Mexican food in San Diego. Think I need a trip to S.D. to see our oldest son, old friends, have some great Mexican food and as many maggies as I can handle. (that will be about 1 since i haven't had any for ages.) One a day anyway. Happy summer
ReplyDeleteBeautiful chair, I love it:) Hugs, Biljana
ReplyDeleteNice :)
ReplyDeleteI love the chair. It is super cute. What kind of paint did you use to make this. Awesome project and one I am going to copy on my next chair project. Lord knows I have about a dozen chairs out in the shed waiting for new life to be breathed into them.
