5 years? Really? My how time flies when you are having fun.
I like to look back at my beginning posts. Oh, the pictures were so bad (they still aren't great, but I do try!). But, the projects were fun and decent and me.
One such project was this cabinet I made from old wood and a drawer.
I made a door from the old wood
and then added some shelves, croquet balls for feet, and a croquet stick for a handle and "crown molding".
I do recall attaching those feet was tough, but worth the effort. Hmmm, I have some newly acquired drawers and a croquet set in the garage...

ReplyDeleteCongrats on 5 years.
ReplyDeleteYou have inspired me to being creative with wood- I was kind of afraid to before (I mostly enjoy sewing/fabric crafts). I started following your blog about 3 months ago and really admire your work and artistry. Thanks to you I just completed a special project for my daughter- and indoor swing for our playroom. I found two bar chairs at a thrift store, cut off the legs and attached them together, then used the legs to make arms for the swing. I used your painting/staining techniques and now have the most adorable creation. I am grateful for your encouraging inspiration! Keep up the amazing work!!!
