Found this little mid century Danish modern bench at the thrift store for $5.
We had a couch with this same teal fabric when I was young (that's how I KNOW the bench is OLD!).
A quick paint job on the legs, some walnut stain wiped over the paint and a new fabric for the top and I have a fresh bench. I knew it had hope so I made a little hope pillow for it too.
I was honored to be blog spotted on Studio 5--a television program out of Utah. They featured my burlap pillow.

I love this bench. I wish I knew more about thrift store shopping. The only thrift store I know of locally is Goodwill. I wouldn't even know where to start.
ReplyDeleteLove the transformation, what color is the blue paint? I am looking for that color to do some accent painting.
