Remember I said I had all kinds of ideas for the tags made out of book covers? Here are a few of them. And if you missed how I made them, click here. I hand painted the words and also used a few images from the graphics fairy. I put a clear finish over them.
How about as a decoration or gift tag on a bottle of wine? This is the inside cover of the book.
Or on a basket of books? The basket you ask--if you missed my post on it last year, it is leather belts woven through a wire chest freezer basket.
Here is the basket from my original post:
Enjoy a jar of chocolates,
dress up a jar of sand and shells,
or embellish a candlestick.
And even decorative suitcases need tags.
Finally, here is a one for my daughter's curtain holdback--I used the cricut on this one for the words.

Hi Becky-
ReplyDeleteI am in love with labels and tags. I think it is a graphic thing. I am in the process of cleaning out my studioffice and have a pile of books to give away, I think I may cut some up to make some tags. What a clever idea.
My best- Diane
