Quick Magnet Boards

Thanks for your kind words and understanding about linky party/posts.  High school Spanish is returning to me slowly!  Erika is settling in well, sweet little girl who has had such a tough life thus far.  I pray we bring a little light to her life.

I am thinking this month will mostly be projects from the archives.  Here is one of my favorite quick ones--decoupaged vintage ads on enamel refrigerator lids make quick and easy magnetic memo boards.

  1. Hi, Becky.

I love love love vintage ads, and I am newer to your blog, so I'm quite happy to check out the archive posts.

    Happy Monday!

  2. Cute idea on the use of both vintage ads and enamel ware!

How old is Erika? What will happen to her after she stays a month with you? (I'm hoping she's not being shuffled from family to family; it sounds like she needs stability.)

Come on over and check out the "next to $0" re-dos I posted on my blog yesterday when you get a chance. Let us know when you're ready to get your Linky posts going again! ;)

    Hugs and blessings,
    Sher

  3. You have my blessings. Hosting a child, children of your own and teaching. I know it's summer but we never get away from the classroom always planning activities in our heads (from a retired teacher.)
Erika and your family will be in my prayers.
BTW just became your newest follower.
