After painting a piece of plywood red, teal, navy, green, and turquoise for the backboard, I used a Chinese checkers board as a magnet board--this one is from the 60's.
complete with checker piece magnets.
A receipt "thingy" makes a great place for lists,
and a breadpan holds supplies, letters, etc.
I usually use something unusual for the hooks, but nothing was hitting me today so instead I painted 3 iron hooks.
This message center is for sale and hopefully will keep some family organized or at least put a smile on their faces.
I LOVE this! We had an old tin Chinese checker game at my Grandparents when I was a kid and we spent many hours playing with it. I've got to go find one of these now! Pinning this for Pinspiration!
