On the third day of Christmas
Beyond The Picket Fence gave to me
Today's project is a wreath made with some scrap pieces of wood. I started with 6 pieces of 3"x 6.5" long. I painted these green.
I painted 6 1.5"x 6" long pieces ocean blue (I am not sure why I only got 5 in the picture.)
I placed these in the pattern I wanted, a hexagon on a hexagon and hot glued them together for a TEMPORARY hold. I then screwed them together from the back side of the wreath.
I forgot anymore process pictures, but I cut a spindle into small slices, some from the wide part of the spindle and some from the more narrow part so they were different sizes. I painted these red and hot glued them in place and then secured them with a brad nail gun.
A bow created from some red and white pillow ticking completed this scrap wood wreath.
